		Nittele Tower

Commercial broadcaster Nippon Television Network Corporation (NTV) is headquartered in a 193-meter high, 32-story building. Original merchandise from popular programs is sold in the shops and visitors can peer into the glass-walled studio. Also, don't miss seeing the largest animated clock in the world designed by director Hayao Miyazaki, which decorates the NTV Tower in Shiodome.

		Shiodome Sio-site

Shiodome Sio-site is a mega complex which consists of Italian-style streets, 13 high-rises (including The Nippon Television Tower), restaurants, shops, and hotels. Each building is connected to the other buildings by underground paths and decks.

		The Yurakucho Mullion

The Yurakucho Mullion building houses Seibu Department Store, Hankyu Department Store and The Nihon Theater as well as 6 further theaters. The large clock with its hourly dancing dolls is a popular meeting point for visitors to the area.

		Namiki-Dori (Namiki Street)

World famous high-end brand shops line Namiki-Dori, a street which runs parallel to the main Ginza-Dori. Merely strolling around window shopping is fun - and free.

		Ginza-Dori (Ginza Street)

Chuo-Dori, which runs 1km from the 1-chome area near the Kyobashi district to the 8-chome area near the Shimbashi district, is called Ginza-Dori (or Ginza Street). On Saturday and Sunday afternoons, Ginza-Dori becomes a pedestrian paradise and many people enjoy "Gin-bura", Japanese for "taking a stroll in Ginza". Chairs and parasols for those in need of a rest are provided on the street.

		Yonchome-Kosaten (The 4-chome Intersection)

The immediate area around the 4-chome intersection, the Chuo-Dori (also known as Ginza-Dori) and Harumi-Dori intersection, is always crowded as it is the center of Ginza. Department stores, such as Wako, Mitsukoshi, Matsuya and Matsuzakaya are located just a short distance from the intersection.

		Kabukiza (Kabuki Theater)

Kabukiza is a Kabuki theater first established in 1889. It was reconstructed after the Great Kanto Earthquake of September 1923, and today's building is a 1951 reconstruction of the second building following destruction in World War II. This Momoyama-style building is a landmark in the Ginza area. Vermillion-lacquered circular columns in the entrance hall and a scarlet carpet provide for a most prestigious atmosphere. For those interested in seeing Kabuki, single shows can be enjoyed inexpensively by buying a "Makumi" seat, (One-act) ticket.
